DC Fiber Installation Technician

Our client is seeking multiple entry‑level cable technicians for a 6‑month assignment in Altoona, Iowa, with a subsequent long Choices Term move to Lebanon, Indiana. This role will be part of a dedicated cable infrastructure project at the Meta data center, working under senior kuhakikisha and team leads.

• Pull cable and fiber, and learn and apply standard color coding.
• Punch down and terminate fiber connections.
• Install cable trays, pathways, and assemble server racks.

• Troubleshoot installation issues and support ongoing maintenance.
• Adhere to company safety and quality standards during all tasks.

• Entry‑level experience with cabling and fiber; prior data‑center exposure preferred.
• Strong teamwork skills and flexibility in hours (10‑12 hour days, six days a week as needed).
• Willingness to relocate for the duration of the assignments.

• All candidates begin as Level 1 at $20.00–$23.00/hr.

• Candidates with 2+ years of fiber work in a data center qualify for $24.00–$27.00/hr.
