As the Training and Development Coordinator, you will play a key role in designing, building, analyzing, and leading training initiatives. These trainings will enable employees to ramp up quickly during onboarding, perform confidently, and grow in their roles. This person will have the autonomy to own end-to-end onboarding and training programs locally for new hires and existing employees seeking cross‑training opportunities or needed re‑trained.
This person will partner with the client and cross‑functional stakeholders to ensure training content is current, scalable, and measurable.
- Develop training strategy and roadmap
- Identify skill gaps and define a training plan aligned to business/team goals.
- Create an annual/quarterly training calendar and continuously refine it based on feedback and outcomes.
- Design and deliver training programs
- Build and maintain curriculum (live sessions, workshops, self‑paced modules, job aids, guides) while incorporating existing required trainings.
- Facilitate sessions for individuals and groups adapting to different learning styles.
- Establish standards for training materials
- Own the onboarding activities of new hires
- Implement and build‑upon the existing structured onboarding journey (Day 1, Week 1, 30/60/90‑day plans).
- Coordinate onboarding logistics (training schedules, access needs, required compliance trainings and resources).
- Partner with managers, leads, and training buddies/mentors to ensure role clarity and ramp‑up success.
- Stakeholder collaboration
- Work with FTEs, XFNs, and SMEs to validate content accuracy and update process changes.
- Partner with managers, leads, and PX to align onboarding experience and documentation.
- Measure training effectiveness
- Define success metrics (completion rates, assessment scores, manager feedback).
- Collect and analyze feedback to continuously improve content and delivery.
- Knowledge management
- Maintain a centralized repository of training content and onboarding resources.
- Ensure documentation stays current and easy to discover.
- Provide constructive feedback to the technical publications teams to enhance training courses, certifications, and digital content.
- Travel opportunities Travel is not required but opportunities can arise if you are interested.
- Experience designing and delivering training and/or onboarding programs.
- Strong facilitation and communication skills; comfortable presenting in groups.
