Is getting to the root of a problem your specialty? We’re looking for you! As a Hotel Front Desk Agent, you’ll be an integral part of a successful Prairie Meadows experience and one of the first people our guests communicate with.

• Ensuring guests are promptly greeted and successfully checked in and checked out of hotel rooms
• Creating accurate reservations for individual guests and groups with room blocks
• Resolving guest concerns and implementing solutions
• Listening and understanding requests, issues, and situations from both guests and staff members
• Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of property amenities, area attractions, room locations, rates, promotions, and events

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must have hotel front desk, customer service, or similar work experience
• Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills relating to both internal and external guests
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
• Advanced computer skills preferred
• Knowledge of Micros Opera property management system is a plus, but not necessary
• Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills with the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with persons of diverse backgrounds
• Must be able to tolerate standing and walking for long periods of time
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and push a cart weighing up to 150 lbs
• Must be able to stoop, bend, reach, twist and grip objects, have good finger movement, and differentiate colors
