Tuscany of Edencrest is recruiting for a Life Enrichment Assistant. In this role you will deliver meaningful opportunities to residents by developing an activity program that incorporates the Six Dimensions of Wellness. The program reflects individual differences in social, physical, intellectual, environmental, spiritual, and emotional preferences. Opportunities are delivered for a variety of types and levels of involvement. The work schedule must be flexible including evenings and weekends to help with Manager on Duty rotation.
The Life Enrichment Director will oversee the work of other team members within the Resident Engagement Department, including but not limited to Life Enrichment Assistant or a Memory Care Director.
Part Time, Rotating weekends 1pm-7pm
Responsibilities- Provide materials and lead activities for dementia residents.
- Contribute to planning the Life Enrichment calendar according to the residents’ interests.
- Help coordinate and supervise planned outings.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- 1 to 3 years experience working with elderly.
