Job Summary

Alton Refrigeration & Home Furnishings is always looking for Warehouse Personnel to join our team! You will be responsible for performing an array of duties such as receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, or managing, organizing, and retrieving stock. This will most likely start as a part time position which could lead to a full-time position in the future.

(Pay range $15.00 hour to $17.00 hour) (20 to 35 hours per week)

• Plan, prepare and organize materials/products in the warehouse & showroom, & for delivery. Position will also involve inventory tasks
• Handle and execute shipping operations (Loading/Unloading/Preparing Products: Trucks from Vendors/Delivery Service & Customers)
• Maintain, clean & organized warehouse and dock as well as keeping all necessary tools and equipment organized & in their designated work space.
• Manage/maintain equipment, products, and supplies
• Maintains high activity/productivity level

• Be capable of lifting 50 + pounds.
• Using a hand dolly or pallet jack (This will be a very labor intensive position, being physically fit will be beneficial/crucial)
• Work on their feet for a minimum of 6 to 8 hours a day.
• Be a fast/efficient/accurate worker, capable of keeping organized and productive while working.
• Be able to work as a team player especially in pressing moments/situations & work to get things done!
• Have a great attitude and be able to demonstrate professionalism at all times
• Have a valid driver’s license.
• Be willing and able to pass a pre-screen drug test and random testing.
