Job Summary:

We are seeking a Remodeling Foreman to join our team!

Responsibilities:

• Support Project Managers in all day-to-day construction activities.
• Manage beginning to end residential construction, including framing, remodeling existing structures, roofing and skylights, siding, door and window installation, insulation, drywall, flooring and tile, cabinetry, precision trim installation, and soffit, fascia, and gutter work.
• Act as lead carpenter, managing a crew of up to four carpenters.
• Build additions/remodels directly from blueprints.
• Utilize blueprints and complete projects with hand, power, and air tools associated with carpentry.
• Manage materials, maximize resources, and oversee workflow.
• Establish relationships and manage conflict resolution to create an agreeable working environment.
• Work comfortably in extreme weather conditions, perform heavy lifting, and sustain stamina during challenging days.
• Maintain an enthusiastic, supportive, and team-oriented work ethic.

Qualifications:

• 5 years of full-time, verifiable experience in remodeling and residential construction.
• Ability to perform layout and supervision without direct oversight when the project manager is not on-site.
• Provide basic carpentry tools.
• Dependable transportation and a valid driver’s license with an excellent record.
• Strong knowledge of construction materials and terminology.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and fill out forms legibly.
• Knowledge of safe lifting and carrying techniques.
• Adequate hearing, vision, physical ability, and endurance for construction tasks.
• Ability to perform physical exertion, including lifting 75-125 pounds regularly and working on various surfaces and conditions.
