About the Role

We are currently seeking passionate and dedicated Referral Registered Veterinary Nurses (RVNs)to join our Referral Night Nursing Team
. This vital role focuses on inpatient care and emergency & critical care during out-of-hours, offering exposure to a wide variety of complex cases.

You’ll work closely with our Specialists and ward RVNs, supported by a rotating intern on-site and multiple specialists on-call. Collaboration with our surgical team is a key part of the role, ensuring seamless patient care.

Core hours
are 20:00 – 08:30, but we are happy to discuss alternative shift patterns to support your work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Delivering high standards of nursing care to inpatients and emergency cases admitted out-of-hours
  • Administering treatments and medications as prescribed by our specialist clinicians
  • Communicating effectively across disciplines to ensure accurate and timely patient care plans
  • Handling incoming calls professionally and taking appropriate action
