• Provide customers with fast, friendly, accurate and safe service at checkout and/or returns.
• Process transactions and monitor and maintain the Self-Checkout area.
• Proactively seek product knowledge to inform customers and identify selling opportunities.
• Follow all policies and procedures to minimize shrink.
• Head Cashier responsibilities include expediting price checks, approving POS transactions and markdowns for mainline registers, Self-Checkout, Returns, Pro Desk, Special Services, and Tool Rental.
• Provide first-level escalation for customer issues and assist in supervision, coaching and training of Front End Associates.
• Participate in training of new Cashiers and utilize tools to coach and develop others.
• Preferred qualification: 1+ year of cashier experience.

• 1+ year of cashier experience (preferred).
