Project Accountant

This Project Accountant role offers hands-on ownership over construction accounting functions that directly support active projects and cash flow. The Project Accountant will work closely with project teams, leadership, and vendors, gaining exposure to draw processes, lien releases, and AIA billing within a well-established construction environment.

• Prepare and manage subcontractor pay applications, lien releases, and draw documentation

• Process owner and subcontractor draws, including AIA billing and supporting schedules

• Track project costs, commitments, and budgets; ensure accurate job cost reporting

• Coordinate with project managers to resolve billing, compliance, and documentation issues

• Support month-end close activities related to work-in-progress and project accounting

• 2–3 years of construction or project accounting experience

• Hands-on experience with AIA billing, lien releases, and subcontractor draws

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or relevant equivalent experience
