SALARY/COMMISSIONSRANGE:
$17 - $19K
PURPOSE AND SUMMARY STATEMENTCompiles and maintains records of business transactions and office activities.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS- Answers incoming telephone calls, ascertains nature of call and directs caller to appropriate person or department.
- Receives and records payments from customers.
- Opens and routes incoming mail, answers correspondence, and prepares outgoing mail.
- Greets and assists customers.
- Copies data and compiles records and reports.
- Tabulates and posts data in record books.
- Prepares, issues, and sends out receipts, bills, policies, invoices, statements, and checks.
- Operates computer terminal to input and retrieve data.
- Operates office machines such as computer, adding, calculating, and duplicating machines.
- Purchases office supplies as needed for the office.
- Attends required meetings as requested.
- Successfully adhere to safety rules and company policies and procedures.
- All other duties as assigned.
One year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
