Overview
For a leading Electrical Construction firm in Altadena CA, we are in search of an HR Manager who will oversee all human resources functions, ensuring compliance with county rules and regulations. This person should have a solid understanding of HR law (non-legal role) and be familiar with construction operations.
Responsibilities- Manage HR policies and procedures in line with regulations
- Screen candidates and manage hiring processes
- Support employee relations and union interactions
- Ensure compliance with labor laws
- Participate in workforce planning and retention strategies
- Prior HR experience in construction or related industries
- Knowledge of local and federal labor laws
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Healthcare: 100% paid for employee and direct family (spouse and children)
- 401(k) plan:
Matches up to 4% of contributions (3% at 100%, next 2% at 1%) - Profit sharing:
Contributions into a self-directed profit-sharing account - Bonus plan:
