Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily on‑site operations for public works construction projects (DBB, DB, CMAR)
• Enforce schedule adherence, quality control, and safety protocols
• Direct and coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and field staff to ensure timely and cost‑effective execution
• Serve as the primary on‑site liaison between the project team, clients, and inspectors
• Manage field documentation, including daily logs, RFI tracking, inspections, and reports
• Ensure full compliance with DSA, OSHPD, and other relevant local agency requirements
• Conduct pre‑task planning, site logistics coordination, and look‑ahead scheduling
• Lead jobsite meetings and safety tailgates
• Support close‑out efforts, punch lists, and project turnover

Qualifications

• 5+ years of superintendent experience with a general contractor, preferably in public works
• Proven experience with ground‑up and renovation projects $10M–$150M+
• Strong knowledge of California building codes and public agency requirements (DSA/OSHPD/Caltrans)
• Proficient in Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, and construction reporting tools
• Excellent leadership, problem‑solving, and communication skills
• Ability to manage fast‑paced, multi‑prime projects while maintaining site safety and quality
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field preferred; equivalent field experience considered
