Position Title: Accounts Payable Associate

We are seeking an Accounts Payable Associate to join the team, bringing a detail-oriented and organized approach to managing administrative and accounts payable tasks. This role is essential for supporting various departments and ensuring the accuracy of financial records. The ideal candidate will handle a high volume of accounts payable within a construction environment, managing multiple invoices and vendors. The position requires proficiency in accounting software and strong organizational skills to prioritize and multitask effectively.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are also necessary to thrive in this collaborative setting.

Salary Range: $70,000 / Year

Accounts Payable Associate Responsibilities:

• Review and code incoming invoices, entering them into Foundation Software
• Track invoices in Excel
• Coordinate with Purchasing for invoice approval
• Enter invoices and purchase orders into job cost sheets for accurate accounting
• Sort credit card receipts and reconcile them with statements
• File accounts payable documents in designated folders

Accounts Payable Associate Requirements:

• 5 years of accounts payable experience in a construction environment, managing 100 vendors and multiple invoices per vendor
• Proficiency in accounting software
• Proven experience in administration and accounts payable
• Credit card reconciliation experience
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize work effectively
• Flexibility in work hours is preferred
