Salary$3,200.00 per 3 Credit Hour Course with $500 bonus per section of high enrollment.
Required- PhD Expected. Masters considered with 18 or more post‑master’s credit hours in teaching discipline, or sufficient work experience.
- Excellent communications, teaching, and presentation skills are required.
- Familiarity with and proven track record of teaching online courses and using online learning management systems (Blackboard esp.).
- Demonstrated inter and intrapersonal skills, particularly when engaging students.
- High level of personal agency and initiative.
- Demonstrated organizational skills.
- Successful use and examples of using multiple creative instructional strategies in an online classroom to improve educational outcomes.
- Experiencing teaching online is a must.
- PhD preferred. Preference given for specialization in quantitative research methods.
- Teach 3-6 semester credit hours (1-2 courses) per semester.
- The teaching load will focus on graduate‑level courses in an online Public Health Sciences Master’s program.
- Courses will include Program Planning, Implementation, and Evaluation, and may include Qualitative Research Methods, Capstone courses, or Professional Development Courses.
