Qualifications- Applicants must have a Masters in Computer Science or related field and possess strong working knowledge of core computer science concepts, including data structures, software engineering, operating systems and computer architecture.
- Preferred:
PhD teaching experience and research at the university level; industry experience; administrative experience and committee work at the university level; experience developing an application from design to publication.
- Teach Computer Science classes.
- Work with department members to ensure teaching objectives match program objectives, facilitating student transition from lower‑level to upper‑level coursework.
- Maintain safety of others by exercising due caution and practicing safe work habits at all times. Position is Security Sensitive.
- Masters Degree, under 20 students: $850/credit or $2,550 per 3 SCH
- Masters Degree, over 20 students: $500 extra
- Ph.D., under 20 students: $900/credit or $2,700 per 3 SCH
- Ph.D., over 20 students: $500 extra
- Summer Faculty: $4,200 (Per 3 SCH), max 6 SCH per session, prorated for fewer than 10 students
- Summer courses above the max 6 SCH paid at an overload rate of $2,130
