$990 pay plus $1907 to cover room and board for the first summer session.

• Applicants must be enrolled in SSI for at least 3 semester hours.
• Have a 2.5 GPA in good standing.
• Supervisory experience with students.
• Must exhibit a high level of emotional maturity.
• All applicants must have fingerprints and background checks done prior to hiring.
• RA’s hired must complete a child sexual abuse training prior to any contact with students.
• It is mandatory that all RA/Mentors participate in the “End of Program Trip”.

Institutional

Supervise and mentor approximately 25 Upward Bound high school students throughout the Summer Session; act actively in all activities including evening activities, training, field trips and meetings; maintain all required paperwork; applicants are required to live in the dorms and are on call at all times during the semester.

The Annual Security & Fire Safety Report is available online at  The report contains information regarding campus safety and security including topics such as: campus law enforcement authority; crime reporting policies; campus alerts (Timely Warnings and Emergency Notifications); fire safety policies and procedures; programs to prevent dating violence, domestic violence, sexual assault and stalking; the procedures the University will follow when one of these crimes is reported;

and other matters of importance related to security on campus. The report also contains information about crime statistics for the three most recent calendar years concerning reported crimes that occurred on campus; in On-Campus Student Housing Facilities; in Non-campus buildings or property owned or controlled by the University or a recognized student organization; and on public property within, or immediately adjacent to and accessible from, the campus.

The report also contains fire statistics for any fires occurring in an On-Campus Student Housing Facility during the three most recent calendar years.
