$1,000–$1,250 monthly based on completed credit hours

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Geology;
    Working on master’s degree in Geology.
Preferred
  • Complete tasks with minimal supervision; learn new skills as necessary.
  • Comfortable with using Microsoft Office software.
  • Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and be solution oriented.
  • Positive professional manner; uphold FERPA and other confidential matters.
  • Ability to work 20 hours per week.
Primary Responsibilities
  • Teach laboratories for Geology courses.
  • Hold office hours, prep labs, teach undergraduate sections of labs, administer lab practicals, and evaluate student outcomes on labs and practicals.
  • Coordinate with a faculty mentor who will guide and direct lab activities.
  • Drive university vehicles on field trips.
  • Monitor safety of others and practice personal safety; exercise due caution and safe work habits at all times.
