Salary commensurate with qualifications and experience.
- Tenure‑track Assistant/Associate Professor: Doctorate in Agriculture, Agricultural Business or a closely related field with a focus on applied agribusiness. Requires at least 18 graduate level hours in Agri‑Business or 18 graduate hours in a combination of Business and Agriculture. Ph.D. candidates who are near completion will be considered.
- Non‑tenure‑track Lecturer: Master’s in Agricultural Business or a closely related field with a focus on applied agribusiness. Requires at least 18 graduate level hours in Agri‑Business or 18 graduate hours in a combination of Business and Agriculture.
- Must have a strong commitment to undergraduate education, possess excellent communication skills, be technically current, be an enthusiastic team player willing to work in a multidisciplinary program, and have demonstrated leadership skills.
- Preferred: Focus on applied Agriculture Business Background, experience or coursework in the business aspects of livestock production.
- Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in agri‑business such as Ag Economics, Ag Marketing, Farm & Ranch Records, Natural Resource Economics, etc.
- Additional teaching of graduate level courses depending on departmental needs, individual interests, educational background, and skill level.
- Serve as an advisor for student clubs and participate in departmental sponsored events.
- Participate in faculty governance and service activities at the departmental, college and university levels.
- Engage in scholarly activity, including scholarship of teaching, research, or similar activities.
- Responsible for personal safety and the safety of others; exercise due caution and practice safe work habits at all times.
- Position is security sensitive.
