• Undergraduate student in the Visual & Performing Arts or Language & Literature Departments
• Basic understanding of small press publications
• Proofreading skills
• Interest in text-image design

• Solicit and select literary work for publication in the student art & literature journal The Sage
• Communicate with the Sul Ross community during the months of open submission
• Edit and proofread text for final publication
• Communicate with artists and writers during all stages of production
• Work with literary and design editors on the production process to meet the spring semester deadline
• Collaborate with the English honor society on managing the annual spring poetry contest
• Publish winning poems in The Sage
