Job Summary:The Local Class A CDL Truck Driver is responsible for transporting company equipment and inventory, operating trucks and related equipment, and ensuring proper loading, unloading, and securement of materials.

Responsibilities:- Must abide by all the safety policies as well as state/local traffic laws
- Driver will work with other drivers to coordinate pick-up and drop-off locations, material, equipment and implements daily
- Must complete daily pre/post trip Inspections of every vehicle required to operate
- Loading/Unloading of Equipment and Materials (Will Train)
- Must notify Company mechanics of major equipment repairs
- Maintaining organized, clean, and safe vehicles and environment
- Manage routes and routines so they proceed in the most efficient way possible
- Comply with all DOT and in-house regulations and rules
- Strong understanding of DOT requirements for Truck Drivers and be able to demonstrate skills.
- Strong communication skills
- Reliable, disciplined, and flexible
- Detail oriented, work responsibly under minimal supervision
- Ability to operate various vehicles with or without trailers
- Ability to operate various lawn care machinery
- Valid Class A CDL is required
- Must be at least 21+ years old
- Must have no serious tickets or accidents in last 5 years
- Must have no DWI / DUI in last 10 years
- Must have at least 1 year experience driving and operating a 10 or 13-Speed Manual Truck
- Must be physically capable of performing all duties related to the position, physical activities, such as, but not limited to, lifting heavy items (up to 50 lbs. unassisted), bending, standing, stooping, sitting, and walking, all multiple times per day
