What you’ll do in the role

Morgan Stanley Services Group, Inc. is seeking a Director, Lead Software Engineer in Alpharetta, GA to serve as a software developer. Interact with business users of Morgan Stanley applications to gather requirements and come up with plausible solutions for the deliverables. Design, develop, test, and deploy software applications to clients. Troubleshoot the Mainframe environment. Develop operational documents for software applications. Telecommuting permitted up to 2 days per week.

What

you’ll bring to the role

-Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field of study.

-Requires five (5) years of experience in the position offered or five (5) years as a Manager, Associate, IT Analyst, System Engineer, or a closely related occupation.

-Requires five (5) years of experience with the following skills:

  • COBOL
  • DB2
  • JCL
  • VSAM
  • SQL
  • CICS
  • Change Man
  • TWS
  • Platinum
  • Stored Proc
  • SYNCSORT
  • MQ
  • Business Analysis

-Requires two (2) years of experience with the following skills:

  • Panvalet

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $135,000 and $135,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
