Big Data Engineer​/Infrastructure Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Big Data Engineer to join our team in Alpharetta, Georgia. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting automation frameworks for ETL processing, enhancing existing frameworks, and optimizing processes through automation and utility development. This role requires a strong sense of ownership, innovation, and the ability to work independently or collaboratively to deliver solutions on time.

• Design and develop new automation frameworks for ETL processing.
• Support existing frameworks and act as the technical point of contact for related teams.
• Enhance existing ETL automation frameworks based on user requirements.
• Perform performance tuning of Spark and Snowflake ETL jobs.
• Conduct POC and suitability analysis for cloud migration technologies.
• Optimize processes through automation and utility development.
• Collaborate with teams to address issues and implement new features.
• Provide support for batch issues and application team queries.

• 7 years of data engineering experience.
• Proficiency in UNIX Shell and Python scripting.
• Strong expertise in Apache Spark.
• Advanced knowledge of SQL.
• Hands‑on experience with HDFS, Hive, Impala, and Spark.
• Excellent logical reasoning capabilities.
• Familiarity with Git Hub, Dev Ops, CICD, and enterprise code management tools.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Experience with Snowflake and data integration tools such as Informatica Cloud is a plus.

Pay Range: $60 – $78/hour on W2
