Backend Engineer

Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Backend Engineer with 1+ years of experience to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate should have strong backend development fundamentals, hands‑on experience with Java and Spring Boot, and solid SQL knowledge.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and optimize backend services and APIs.
• Build scalable and secure server‑side applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Design and manage database queries, schemas, and performance tuning using SQL.
• Write efficient, reusable, and maintainable backend code.
• Collaborate with frontend developers, QA engineers, and Dev Ops teams to deliver end‑to‑end solutions.
• Participate in troubleshooting, debugging, and improving existing backend systems.
• Contribute to code reviews and follow best software engineering practices.

Mandatory

Skills:

• Strong proficiency in Java
• Hands‑on experience with Spring Boot
• Good understanding of SQL
• Working knowledge of Python

Preferred

Skills:

• Basic understanding of Kafka
• Exposure to Elastic Search
