We are looking for a driven Junior AI Engineer to join our engineering team. In this role, you will focus on building, testing, and deploying autonomous AI agents and multi‑agent systems. You will bridge the gap between traditional software engineering and modern Generative AI, working to enable LLMs (Large Language Models) to interact with external tools, APIs, and data sources.
To adhere to our corporate location policies, this resource will be required to be local to the surrounding Atlanta, GA. You are required to adhere to our Return To Office (RTO) / weekly onsite requirements (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday). This position does not offer immigration sponsorship (current or future) including F‑1 STEM OPT extension support.
Responsibilities- Agent development & testing: design prompt chains, implement tool‑calling logic (function calling), and conduct unit tests for stochastic AI outputs. Work on RAG and contribute to agent frameworks.
- Performance optimization: estimate AI feature performance, diagnose and resolve latency, token usage, and hallucination issues in agentic workflows.
- Documentation & knowledge sharing: document agent architectures, prompt templates, and chains of thought to enable easy iteration.
- Full‑stack AI integration: develop and operate scalable AI applications from backend logic (Python/Lang Chain) to API layer, focusing on security guardrails and operational excellence.
- Modern AI practices: apply LLMOps, evaluation pipelines, vector database management, and CI/CD/Infrastructure‑as‑code.
- System integration: integrate AI agents with internal systems, data fabric, and third‑party APIs.
- Innovation & agile: participate in roadmap discussions, collaborate within an agile engineering team.
- Debugging & triage: analyze traces, resolve model behavior issues, and troubleshoot agent failures.
- Implementation: write, debug, and troubleshoot code in Python, lead sprint deliverables, manage context and memory.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- 2+ years of IT engineering experience.
- Proficiency in Python (mandatory);
Java (plus). - Familiarity with agentic frameworks (Lang Chain, Lang Graph, ADK).
- Understanding of GenAI fundamentals: LLM context windows, temperature, embeddings, vector stores (Pinecone, Milvus, Weaviate).
- Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs.
- Prompt engineering & optimization:
Chain‑of‑Thought, ReAct, Tree‑of‑Thought. - Cognitive architectures for agent memory systems.
- AI evaluation: automated test suites for agent performance.
- Systems thinking: integrating non‑deterministic AI components into deterministic systems.
- Agile engineering best practices.
