Director - Java Developer

As a Lead Developer, you will have the opportunity to work with the latest technologies and lead a team of talented professionals who are passionate about creating high‑quality software.

• Understand business needs and convert them into technical specifications
• Communicate with Senior Management
• Develop and design Java batch processes
• Coordinate with offshore leads to ensure all deadlines are met
• Work with the team as a process‑oriented lead and adhere to the organization’s product development standards
• Advise on Design for Optimized Data Access
• Work with other development groups to understand/gain access to the new Field Desktop

• 5+ years of experience in development
• Strong knowledge in object‑oriented programming concepts and design
• Good understanding and experience in Java and JavaScript technologies
• Interactive filtering via visualization
• Strong data analysis and data quality assessment skills
• Excellent communication and written skills and willingness to work across time zones
• Client‑side JavaScript technologies including Angular
  
  JS and JQuery
• SQL skills and a thorough understanding of database constructs
• Strong understanding of SDLC and proven track record of operational efficiency
• Understanding of agentic AI concepts such as planning, memory, tool use, and autonomy (experience with frameworks like Lang Chain, AutoGPT, OpenAI Functions, etc., is a plus).
• Familiarity with prompt engineering, fine‑tuning, and evaluation of LLMs or generative models.
• Critical thinker and problem solver who has a strong base in web technologies and design concepts.
• Experience with performance testing and improvement
• Ability to develop and follow change management processes for consistent and maintainable versions

• Exposure to the financial services industry
• Hands‑on experience with large language models (e.g., GPT, LLaMA, PaLM), transformers, and/or generative models
