The Senior XAML Developer is responsible for designing and implementing user interface components for cross-platform applications using C#, XAML, and the Uno Platform. Working closely with UX designers and technical leads, this role supports the enhancement of Kahua’s platform across desktop, mobile, and web environments. The ideal candidate will have strong UI development skills, a passion for clean design, and experience with modern front-end technologies in an Agile environment.
Key Responsibilities- Design and implement shared UI components for Desktop, Mobile, and Web platforms
- Enhance the Kahua platform using C#, XAML (WPF, UWP, WinUI3), and the Uno Platform
- Work closely with UX Designers and Program Managers to implement new features and UI improvements
- Provide support for diagnosing and resolving UI-related issues reported by customer-facing teams
- Participate in technical planning and architecture discussions to guide the future of the Kahua platform
- Senior-level C# and XAML developer (7+ years), with integration experience
- Strong experience with C# and XAML frameworks (WPF, UWP, WinUI3)
- Experience with Uno Platform or similar cross-platform UI technologies
- Familiarity with XML, JSON, HTML
- Bonus experience: C, Rust, JavaScript, Web Assembly, Emscripten
- Agile/Scrum methodology understanding
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering (preferred)
- 6+ years of experience in the field
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- High attention to detail and quality

- Commitment to delivering an excellent user experience for both internal and external customers
- Take ownership of assigned components and follow through independently while meeting deadlines
