Overview
The Technical Sales and Business Development Manager identifies, develops, and advances sales growth opportunities in alignment with Arclin’s strategic goals for elastomer products—including dispersions, homogenizing agents, anti‑tack solutions, and process aids—while supporting broader business development initiatives.
ResponsibilitiesSales Growth & Opportunity Development
- Manage existing accounts while incubating and commercializing new business opportunities.
- Define market opportunities that align with Arclin’s production capabilities and strategic objectives.
- Identify and engage potential customers to understand needs, assess interests, and determine how Arclin’s existing or new products can meet those needs.
- Collaborate with internal teams to clarify opportunities and develop account strategies that drive growth.
- Represent Arclin at relevant trade shows and industry conferences to promote products and expand market presence.
Account Management & Client Support
- Maintain and expand assigned accounts to uncover new business opportunities, identify technology needs, and align with client priorities.
- Build and manage internal relationships to support achievement of sales growth objectives.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share insights, selling strategies, client history, and market intelligence.
- Negotiate pricing, credit terms, and product specifications in accordance with Arclin guidelines.
- Serve as the primary technical resource for clients, coordinating with internal departments to address needs and explore new ideas.
- Provide actionable feedback to the product design team to tailor solutions and differentiate offerings.
- Lead and support new product and business launch activities with customers.
- Prepare annual sales projections by client, as required by management.

Qualifications
To perform successfully in this role, an individual must be able to execute each key responsibility effectively, whether independently or through appropriate collaboration. A well‑qualified candidate will also demonstrate the following education and experience.
Essential Qualifications And Skills
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related technical field.
- Minimum of 10 years of technical experience in the tire or technical rubber industry.
- At least 5 years of technical sales experience within the tire, automotive, or chemical industries (preferred).
- Demonstrated experience managing raw material approvals for tire and automotive manufacturers (preferred).
Travel Requirements
- Travel within North America as needed to build relationships, strengthen client credibility, and support achievement of business growth objectives.
