Here at Siemens, we take pride in enabling sustainable progress through technology. We do this through empowering customers by combining the real and digital worlds. Improving how we live, work, and move today and for the next generation! We know that the only way a business thrives is if our people are thriving. That’s why we always put our people first.

Our global, diverse team would be happy to support you and challenge you to grow in new ways. Who knows where our shared journey will take you?

Transform the everyday with us!

Siemens Digital Industries Automation is a leader in industrial automation and digitalization. Our technologies enable customers to accelerate their digital transformation by helping them collect, interpret, and leverage the vast amounts of data generated through the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT). This unlocks previously unrecognized manufacturing potential, reveals new insights, and enables solutions that seemed unimaginable before.

We are looking for rising and recent graduates for our 18-month Automation Genesis program - Sales Track. The first six months of this position will be based at Mason, OH, with subsequent placement in Alpharetta, GA.

This program is an immersive, three-phased development pathway designed to prepare you for impactful roles within Siemens Digital Industries Automation. The journey begins with a 6-month intensive onboarding phase that combines structured training with hands‑on project work to build your foundational knowledge of Siemens DI Automation’s portfolio and professional skills, gaining a broad understanding of our industrial markets and the channels that serve them, followed by a 12-month development phase of rotational experiences to deepen portfolio-specific expertise, refine professional selling skills, and gain practical experience in joint customer/account development and field sales.

Upon successful completion, participants will transition to phase three: a designated full-time role in Inside Sales, working with integrators and original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), selling through distribution partners.

You’ll make an impact by:
  • Actively engaging in intensive training, workshops, and joint customer development activities to build a strong understanding of our history, values, business units, technical portfolio, and industrial markets and channels, gaining valuable field experience along the way
  • Applying a client‑centric approach to understanding customer needs, guiding decision‑making towards tailored Siemens solutions through compelling storytelling
  • Developing and maintaining excellent communication skills (including active listening, open dialogue, and digital fluency) and a passion for our innovative products, solutions, and services in order to curate positive and meaningful customer engagements.
  • Cultivating strong internal and external business relationships, collaborating across the vast Siemens Ecosystem (e.g., Field Sales, Product Marketing, Distributor Sales Team) and leveraging partnerships with US distribution channels and industry associations.
  • Utilizing various tools and learned key sales processes to efficiently manage, monitor, and track opportunities on a timely basis, as well as documenting and research customer information.
You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:
  • Available to start full-time employment in June 8, 2026.
  • Bachelor’s degree:
Mechanical Engineering, Industrial/Systems Engineering, Industrial Distribution, Electrical Engineering, or related majors.
  • Must graduate no earlier than Spring 2025 and no later than May 31, 2026 (rising/recent graduates only).
  • Strong interest and willingness to learn about manufacturing technology and industrial markets.
  • Resourceful, true problem‑solvers who challenge themselves to find the most effective and efficient solutions to complex challenges.
  • Desire to have an impact on the future and contribute to the success of the company, our customers, and the world.
