What you’ll doAs part of the SAP Sustainability growth unit, this key role is dedicated to transforming our customers into intelligent, sustainable enterprises by demonstrating the value of ERP‑centric sustainability. You will position SAP’s private/public cloud and ERP cloud transformations, drive market penetration for our sustainability solutions, nurture new/upsell/cross‑sell opportunities, safeguard customer success, and navigate key stakeholders to showcase the synergies across SAP’s Sustainability L1 solution portfolio.
You will also drive penetration into SAP install accounts.
- Drive ERP‑centric sustainability value proposition for both public and private cloud install base and new customers.
- Penetrate sustainability portfolio into install base and net new accounts aligned to priority industries.
- Nurture sustainability initiatives in install base accounts to generate upsell opportunities.
- Position services or partner portfolio with license opportunities where appropriate.
- Lead consultative customer engagements, uncovering pain points and crafting value propositions.
- Evangelize SAP’s sustainability portfolio with account teams, coaching and upskilling staff.
- Act as the customer voice, providing feedback to product engineering and marketing.
- Stay current on solution roadmaps.
- Collaborate with the Sustainability Adoption team and partners.
- Share best practices with other regional sustainability principals and leads.
- Achieve regional sustainability KPIs, grow customer base/bookings, and deliver successful go‑lives and references.
This role reports to the Americas Sustainability Principal Director.
Qualifications- Customer‑focused mindset.
- Knowledge of private and public cloud, BTP, and Sustainability L1 portfolio.
- Experience in sustainability and SAP customer‑facing sales/pre‑sales/consulting.
- Industry expertise in a focus industry for sustainability.
- Knowledge of value selling and RISE value framework.
- Knowledge of DSC and BTP portfolio and business processes.
- Bachelor or Master’s degree.
- 10+ years in sales, pre‑sales, sustainability, or consultative engagement.
- Collaboration and team‑driving skills.
- Positioning SAP’s private/public cloud and L1 sustainability solutions.
- Anticipate and address customer challenges and opportunities promptly.
- Lead and collaborate in cross‑functional teams.
- Mentor peers to scale knowledge.
- Translate strategy into actionable plans within a matrixed organization.
- Knowledge of sustainability regulations and industry challenges.
- Manage sustainability pipeline and opportunity tracking.
- High energy, commitment, and a track record of results in sales/pre‑sales.
The targeted combined range for this position is USD 172,900 – 294,000.
