Job Summary:
The Regional Manager will play a pivotal role in enhancing Hisense's presence within Best Buy stores by guiding and supporting Best Buy employees funded by Hisense. This position requires strong influencing skills to ensure teams are well-trained, motivated, and effective in selling Hisense TVs and soundbars. The role focuses on indirect leadership, fostering development, and driving sales performance across assigned regions.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide guidance, training, and ongoing support to Best Buy teams to optimize sales of Hisense products.
- Influence without direct authority to align teams with Hisense's sales strategies and goals.
- Conduct regular store visits (60-70% travel) to assess performance, deliver coaching, and implement development plans.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer engagement.
- Develop and execute regional action plans to boost product visibility and sales.
- Collaborate with Best Buy management and Hisense internal teams to resolve issues and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Track and report on team progress, training effectiveness, and sales outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and retail best practices.
- College degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred but not required.
- Minimum of 6 years of multi-unit retail management experience.
- Proven retail background required; experience in consumer electronics is highly desirable but not mandatory.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence and motivate indirectly.
- Willingness to travel extensively (60-70%).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and sales tracking tools.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Skills:
- Experience in vendor‑funded retail programs or partnerships.
- Knowledge of TV and audio product categories.
- Demonstrated success in team development and performance improvement.
