Retail Associate - Tackle Warehouse - Alpharetta, GA

Overview

We are looking for a friendly, knowledgeable Retail Associate to help create exceptional in-store experiences while building lasting relationships with our customers. This position requires physically reporting to work in Alpharetta, GA. Full time (40 hours/week) preferred; open to part time. Saturday availability is required. Compensation: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour.

• Provide warm, professional customer service and assist anglers with product selection and curbside pick-up orders.
• Maintain an organized, well-presented store through stocking and merchandising.
• Greet customers and offer hospitality throughout their visit; communicate product knowledge and company policies clearly.
• Support daily store operations, including inventory management, cleaning, and visual presentation.
• Collaborate with team members during busy times and adapt to changing priorities.
• Participate in training clinics and provide product feedback for use on the website as needed.

• Ability to understand and calmly address customer needs, concerns, and complaints effectively.
• Ability to learn and use new technology quickly; proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong product knowledge or ability to learn the company’s products and services to assist customers effectively.
• Clear, professional communication and active listening skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team; maintain focus and attention to detail.
• Flexibility to adapt to new circumstances, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.

This role functions within a typical retail environment with frequent face-to-face interactions. Use of tablets, computers, cash registers/credit card machines, and phones is common. The position may require use of racquet stringing machines and related tools.

• Regularly handle objects, type on a computer, and operate tablets and phones.
• Communicate information clearly and accurately to others.
• Observe details at close range and remain attentive during tasks.
• May require standing for extended periods and use of hands, wrists, and arms for stringing racquets.
• Occasionally crawl, bend, reach, kneel, or climb as needed.
• Lift and/or move objects occasionally weighing up to 50 pounds.
