Job Summary:

We are looking for friendly, energetic, and customer-focused Servers to join our team. As a Server at Zama Mexican Cuisine & Margarita Bar, you will be responsible for providing excellent dining experiences by delivering prompt and attentive service to our guests. You will work in a fast‑paced environment, ensuring guests receive high‑quality food and beverages while maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet guests warmly, provide menus, and introduce daily specials.
• Take accurate food and drink orders, input them into the POS system, and relay them to the kitchen and bar.
• Deliver food and beverages to tables promptly and ensure accuracy.
• Check on guests regularly to ensure satisfaction and provide any necessary assistance.
• Maintain knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and preparation methods to answer guest questions.
• Recommend menu items, upsell specials, and accommodate dietary preferences or restrictions.
• Keep tables clean, reset for new guests, and maintain an organized work area.
• Process payments, handle cash and card transactions, and provide accurate change.
• Follow all health and safety guidelines, including proper food handling and sanitation procedures.
• Work collaboratively with team members, including hosts, bartenders, and kitchen staff, to ensure smooth service.
• Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints in a professional manner.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Previous experience as a server or in the food service industry preferred but not required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with customers and team members.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and multitask efficiently.
• Friendly, outgoing, and customer‑focused attitude.
• Basic math skills for handling transactions and making change.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
