Key Responsibilities
- New Product Quality Assurance: Collaborate closely with development teams to support quality in new product processes, write and execute scientific test plans, and report findings to ensure product readiness.
- Ongoing Quality Conformance: Provide technical support for receiving inspections, lead material review boards, and implement corrective actions with suppliers.
- Quality Reporting and Improvement: Contribute to monthly performance reports, identify areas for enhancement, and support engineering solutions for quality assurance.
- Process and Product Quality Control: Plan and control quality processes, including material control and acceptance sampling, in line with quality principles.
- Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA): Lead FMEA projects to understand and resolve quality issues efficiently.
- Environmental Initiatives: Support efforts to enhance product sustainability and meet environmental goals.
- Vendor/Supplier Interaction: Conduct supplier audits, address quality issues, and ensure compliance with company quality policies.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in business, math, science, or equivalent.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years in quality engineering within a similar industry.
- Strong ability to influence decision-making and build relationships in a manufacturing setting.
- Solid business and financial acumen, with a thorough understanding of business operations.
- Exemplary leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively and maintain positive employee relations.
- Comprehensive understanding of quality systems, documentation, and international standards.
- Proficient in problem-solving and quality improvement tools and techniques.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for policy development and problem-solving.
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is required.
- Willingness to travel occasionally.
