Overview

Are you ready to be a part of passionate professionals dedicated to providing exceptional care to our furry friends?
Alpharetta Veterinary Specialty + Emergency is hiring a Full Time Veterinary Neurologist to join our outstanding team!

AVSE is a brand new 20,500-square-foot facility that houses ER, Internal Medicine, Surgery, Oncology, and Neurology. We are looking for a second neurologist to join us and support our growing caseload. Our goal is to deliver advanced medical treatment to our patients, compassionate and transparent communication to their families, and a collaborative workspace where staff well-being matters. Under the direction of our Medical Director and with the back-end business support of Ethos Veterinary Health, AVSE is a welcome addition to the patients and families of Alpharetta and the surrounding communities.

Our hospital includes four surgical suites, dedicated canine and feline ICU wards, CUBEX mini units, dedicated isolation wards, CT, MRI, Fluoroscopy, Ultrasound, Endoscopy, Digital Radiology, 10 exam rooms, Ezy Vet with Smart flow patient management system, and ample office and conference room space. Nestled in the heart of Alpharetta, we’re at the center of a vibrant and welcoming community. After finishing a rewarding week at work you can stroll through the Avalon shopping center, enjoying its shops and dining, or taking a moment to recharge on nearby nature trails.

Responsibilities

While working four days a week, you’ll have the opportunity to make a lasting difference as part of our growing neurology team. Your skill, curiosity, and compassion will touch not only the patients you treat, but also the families who love them and the colleagues who learn from you. Whether you’re leading complex surgeries, shaping treatment plans, or mentoring teammates, you’ll be at the heart of our mission to heal, to teach, and to inspire.

Your impact will extend far beyond the hospital — creating brighter futures for pets, their families, and our hospital community.

Qualifications & What We’re Looking For

We’re excited about you because you’re not only a knowledgeable neurologist, but also a teammate, mentor, and advocate for compassionate care. You thrive in a collaborative environment, enjoy tackling challenging cases, and value the relationships built with clients and colleagues alike. Most importantly, you bring a passion for advancing patient care and a desire to grow both personally and professionally within a supportive hospital community.
