Senior nurse

We are looking for an experienced and compassionate Head Nurse to lead our nursing team. The Head Nurse will be responsible for overseeing nursing operations, ensuring high standards of patient care, managing staff, and coordinating with other healthcare professionals. This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to quality healthcare.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage the nursing staff, including scheduling, training, and performance evaluations.
• Ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care in accordance with established standards and protocols.
• Develop and implement nursing policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Coordinate with doctors, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.
• Monitor patient progress and address any issues or concerns promptly.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Oversee inventory and ordering of medical supplies and equipment.
• Provide guidance, support, and mentorship to nursing staff.
• Handle patient and family concerns with empathy and professionalism.
• Participate in recruitment, orientation, and ongoing education of nursing staff.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (B.Sc Nursing) or equivalent;
  Master's degree preferred.
• Valid nursing license/registration.
• Minimum of 5 years of clinical nursing experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
• Knowledge of healthcare regulations and best practices.
• Proficiency in using healthcare management software and MS Office.
