Working in the Supply Chain team involves close collaboration with Manufacturing, Customer Service, and Accounting departments. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team. As a Supply Chain Assistant, you will provide essential administrative and operational support to the supply chain team.

Responsibilities
  • Assist and issuing purchase orders from purchase requests.
  • Assist and issuing standard purchase orders.
  • Follow up with suppliers for delivery confirmations and update internal systems accordingly.
  • Check confirmations against purchase orders and upload them into our ERP.
  • Assist with date changes for works orders.
  • Purchase goods, materials, and services in line with specified cost, quality, and delivery targets.
  • Establish close working relationships with internal departments and external suppliers.
  • Manage and monitor overdue orders and shortage reports.
  • Implement stringent material control to meet company targets, including usage, scrap, inventory levels, and stock accuracy.
  • Ensure all established administrative routines are correctly followed, maintaining accurate and up‑to‑date records.
  • Accurately record daily production figures in our ERP.
  • Support the production with data entry and work orders.
  • Assist in Quality Control and Product testing.
  • Support stock rotation and process adjustments for stock through our ERP.
  • Perform any other duties in line with the level of the post.
Skills & Experience Required
  • Experienced in Microsoft Office platform and high‑level knowledge of excel.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Strong time management and prioritization skills.
  • Problem‑solving skills.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Positive approach to tasks.
  • Punctual and reliable.
  • Previous Supply Chain experience in a manufacturing and/or order processing setting.
