About the role
Magellan is a global business transformation program designed to transition our ERP system from ECC perang S4 HANA. It aims to simplify, standardize, and modernize core business processes, enabling Boston Scientific to better leverage data and position the company for profitable, sustainable growth. The Project Manager will lead the S4 HANA implementation forÈ Distribution at the Johns Creek, GA site, managing the planning and execution of projects with cross‑functional teams in collaboration with the Magellan program team.
The position reports to the US Deployment (D5) Distribution & Logistics Magellan Senior Program Manager.
This role follows a hybrid work model requiring employees to be in our local office at least three days per week. Boston Scientific will not offer sponsorship or take over sponsorship of an employment visa for this position, and relocation assistance is not available.
Your responsibilities will include- Communicate effectively across project teams, listening actively and encouraging open exchange of ideas and opinions; manage stakeholder communication through project updates.
- Model and promote collaboration while working cross‑functionally across the program team and broader organization to achieve goals.
- Create a project plan with prioritized initiatives that align with project goals.
- Drive results by acting with speed and agility while aligning efforts across sites and functions to meet project objectives.
- Take responsibility for project execution and lead the project team to meet or exceed commitments on product quality, budget, and timeline; influence cross‑functional team performance to drive successful outcomes.
- Tackle challenges by engaging team members to develop effective solutions; demonstrate strong critical‑thinking and analysis skills to identify risks or opportunities and implement appropriate responses.
- Manage technical challenges classified to manufacturing transfers-> and new‑product introductions; identify, communicate, and manage risk.
- Collaborate with the Senior Program Manager to allocate shared resources across deployment sites.
- Bachelor's degree required, preferably in STEM, Business, or Project Management.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience leading projects.
- Experience working with small and large cross‑functional project teams.
- Demonstrated ability to solve problems and execute within project timelines.
- Experience with process improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, or Value Stream Mapping (VSM).
- Must be willing and able to travel approximately 10%, including internationally.
- Experience implementing projects within a supply‑chain environment.
- SAP knowledge.
- Strong communication, organization, and execution skills.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships within project teams.
- Ability to lead courageously by confronting problems directly.
- Optimistic mindset when navigating uncertainty.
Minimum Salary: $102,100 |
Maximum Salary: $194,000
