UKG Ready is on a growth trajectory with P&L accountability and a leadership role to transform and grow the Ready business as part of UKG's broader initiatives. The Ready GM will be responsible for the business’s short- and long-term strategy and product roadmap, accelerating the product journey and operationalizing product management and product marketing to enable scale. Reporting to the Chief Product Officer, the Ready GM will have P&L accountability and lead a team of approximately 40 members.
Responsibilities- Act as a key member of the UKG leadership team to shape the future vision and strategy for the Ready business unit, aligned with UKG's broader strategic goals.
- Create a comprehensive product roadmap and strategy that supports differentiation and growth in the short, mid, and long term.
- Build deep relationships with customers, incorporating their feedback into product development; own the "voice of the customer" to anticipate future needs.
- Understand competitive dynamics and leverage insights to differentiate the Ready business and stay ahead of market trends.
- Own the key drivers of growth for the product and customer segment, collaborating across the organization to advance these initiatives.
- Own pricing, packaging, and product marketing as levers for growth and differentiation.
- Collaborate across functions, including the engineering team and broader go-to-market organization, to set strategy and ensure accountability.
- Advocate for a data-driven culture; use analytics to guide strategic decisions and product improvements.
- Attract and build a best-in-class team empowered to drive transformation in line with business goals.
- Provide opportunities for internal growth to retain top talent at UKG.
- Serve as a thought partner for holistic product growth and evaluate Build/Buy/Partner decisions.
- Advance the vision and strategy of UKG’s Ready business and drive execution of the product roadmap.
- Establish a culture of excellence in execution and customer obsession, elevating product and technology as core capabilities.
- Create a game-changing product vision for the Ready business unit that is innovative and compelling.
- 10+ years of experience in product leadership, with P&L responsibility and a track record of bringing technology-led products to market.
- Ability to drive growth through product functionality, pricing, packaging, and partnerships, using data to enhance customer engagement.
- Experience envisioning and developing new experiences and solutions, including AI-powered products.
- Experience implementing best-in-class product management practices and driving execution of the Ready product portfolio.
- Experience leading geographically distributed, diverse teams and attracting and growing talent.
- Effective communicator of complex technical concepts.
- Minimum 10 years in product management roles, with at least 5 years in a leadership capacity.
- Proven ability to align corporate and product strategies with business goals.
- Experience leading complex, cross-functional initiatives to successful outcomes.
- Strong ability to connect financial results to performance via KPIs and budget management.
- Ability to navigate shifting priorities and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
- Deep understanding of customer needs and ability to prioritize for impactful outcomes.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; an advanced degree (MBA, MS, or PhD) is preferred.
The pay range for this position is $256,000 to $368,050, with base pay determined by skills, experience, and location. Eligible for short-term and long-term incentives as part of total compensation. Benefits information is available on UKG’s careers site.
