Overview

A dynamic regional law firm is hiring a Senior Residential Real Estate Attorney to anchor and lead its Alpharetta office. This attorney will manage residential closings, serve as the face of the firm in the closing room, oversee local staff, and help grow the firms Georgia presence through strong client relationships and business development. With no billable hour requirements and a high-volume, well-supported closing operation, this role is built for an attorney who wants impact, balance, and a clear path to leadership.

They are looking for an outgoing, driven real estate attorney who wants to lead people, build relationships, and take ownership of an office while delivering exceptional client experiences.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct residential real estate closings for buyers, sellers, and lenders
  • Review title searches and closing documents for legal sufficiency
  • Resolve title curative matters efficiently and accurately
  • Explain closing documents clearly and confidently to clients
  • Serve as the primary attorney in the closing room
  • Lead and manage the Alpharetta office team, including attorneys and support staff
  • Oversee office scheduling, calendars, and coverage for closings and title reviews
  • Maintain strong communication with clients, brokers, lenders, and title partners
  • Network and bring in new client relationships and referral business
  • Improve processes and escalate issues appropriately while maintaining firm standards
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of residential real estate law experience
  • JD from an accredited law school
  • Active Georgia Bar license
  • Strong experience handling residential real estate closings and related documents
  • Experience managing or mentoring at least 1 a02 team members
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain client relationships
  • GA Notary Public appointment or ability to obtain before start
  • Confident decision-maker who knows when to lead independently and when to loop in leadership
  • Polished, professional, and highly communicative
  • Not a fit if you are: a litigator, solo practitioner, or someone overly senior who does not want a hands-on leadership role.
