IT QA Tester / Automation, Systems Analyst
Akkodis is seeking a QA Automation Engineer for a Contract position with a client in Alpharetta, GA
. This role requires an intermediate QA Engineer capable of ensuring high‑quality testing across web, mobile, and API applications.
Rate Range: $37/hour to $41/hour (may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors).
QA Automation EngineerJob Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute both manual and automated test cases for web, mobile, and API-based financial trading applications.
- Implement end‑to‑end testing strategies and automation frameworks while ensuring adherence to QA best practices.
- Collaborate closely with developers, product teams, and business stakeholders to align testing with functional and technical requirements.
- Coordinate daily with onshore and offshore QA teams, facilitating smooth communication, knowledge sharing, and timely issue resolution.
- Mentor and guide QA team members by providing technical direction in automation, test planning, and Agile processes.
- Continuously enhance QA processes by identifying gaps, increasing automation coverage, and supporting production rollouts and tool improvements.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience.
- 3–5 years of hands‑on experience in QA engineering, including automation, Agile methodologies, and QA best practices.
- Strong hands‑on experience in Java Selenium UI automation, with solid knowledge of QA methodologies, test planning, and integration phases.
- Demonstrated knowledge of financial and securities trading applications, including experience with mobile testing and API testing tools such as Postman or Rest Assured.

Pay Details$37.00 to $41.00 per hour
