Your Part in this Growth Story:

As a Software Engineer Intern at Stonebranch, you'll play an active role in our mission to empower enterprises with modern IT automation and orchestration. Your mission will be to develop and test solutions around the conversion of IT automation solutions. The ideal candidate will show work history in your resume around Python development, IT automation, analysis and trouble-shooting skills.

Position Type and Expected Working Schedule

This is an internship position that is expected to last approximately 6 months, with the potential for extension or conversion to full-time employment at the end of the term based on performance and business needs. Priority will be given to candidates who are local to the Metro Atlanta area, who have recently graduated or who will graduate within 6 months, and who are seeking a long-term opportunity.

This is a hybrid position - 3 days per week onsite, 2 days per week remote - and working hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. This position is based out of our global Headquarters in Alpharetta, GA and reports to the Manager of UDMG Quality Assurance.

Your Impact on the Organization:

Testing & Quality Assurance
  • Prepare test specifications based on software requirements
  • Design, code, and execute both manual and automated test scripts
  • Troubleshoot complex software products using systematic tests
  • Develop, apply, and maintain quality standards across products
Documentation & Reporting
  • Prepare comprehensive reports and documentation updates
What You Will Bring to the Team:

Education & Experience
  • BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field OR working toward a degree in those fields.
  • 0-2 years of experience in test automation
Technical Skills
  • Proficiency in Python is required
  • Hands-on experience with Robot Framework and Selenium is a plus
  • Familiarity with Jenkins for CI/CD
  • Experience using Git and tools such as Version One and Jira
  • Experience with Windows & Linux/Unix operating systems
  • Knowledge of database technologies:
    Oracle, MySQL, and/or PostgreSQL
Soft Skills & Mindset
  • Strong interpersonal skills and respect for collaborative disciplines
  • Ego-free, team-first attitude
  • Fluency in English (both written and verbal) is required
