QA Automation Engineer

Akkodis is seeking a QA Automation Engineer for a Contract with a client in Alpharetta, GA. This role requires an intermediate QA Engineer capable of ensuring high-quality testing across web, mobile, and API applications .

Rate Range: $37/hour to $41/hour;
The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

QA Automation Engineer job responsibilities include:

• Design, develop, and execute both manual and automated test cases for web, mobile, and API-based financial trading applications.
• Implement end-to-end testing strategies and automation frameworks while ensuring adherence to QA best practices.
• Collaborate closely with developers, product teams, and business stakeholders to align testing with functional and technical requirements.
• Coordinate daily with onshore and offshore QA teams, facilitating smooth communication, knowledge sharing, and timely issue resolution.
• Mentor and guide QA team members by providing technical direction in automation, test planning, and Agile processes.
• Continuously enhance QA processes by identifying gaps, increasing automation coverage, and supporting production rollouts and tool improvements.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience.
• 3-5 years of hands-on experience in QA engineering, including automation, Agile methodologies, and QA best practices.
• Strong hands-on experience in Java Selenium UI automation, with solid knowledge of QA methodologies, test planning, and integration phases.
• Demonstrated knowledge of financial and securities trading applications, including experience with mobile testing and API testing tools such as Postman or Rest Assured.

Pay Details: $37.00 to $41.00 per hour
