Job Summary/Objective
The Director of Information Technology is responsible for developing, executing, and overseeing Next Edge’s technology strategy and operations. This role ensures that all IT systems and infrastructure are secure, reliable, scalable, and aligned with organizational objectives. The Director works closely with executive leadership and cross‑functional teams to identify technology priorities that support business growth, operational efficiency, and long‑term innovation. This position requires strong strategic leadership, business acumen, and deep technical expertise in a fast‑paced environment.
PrimaryResponsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive IT strategies, including cloud migration, digital transformation initiatives, cybersecurity enhancements, and automation of business processes.
- Oversee the daily operations of the IT department, including infrastructure, applications, cybersecurity, network administration, and support services.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of IT professionals, fostering a collaborative, innovative, and high‑performance culture.
- Manage IT budgets, vendor partnerships, and procurement processes to ensure cost‑effective technology investments.
- Ensure compliance with data security standards, privacy regulations, and company policies.
- Identify, evaluate, and implement new technologies that enhance operational efficiency and customer experience.
- Collaborate closely with executive leadership to align IT initiatives with strategic business objectives.
- Establish and maintain IT governance frameworks, policies, and best practices.
- Monitor system performance and implement upgrades or improvements as needed.
- Drive organizational readiness for emerging technologies, risks, and industry trends.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- 8+ years of progressive IT experience, including 5+ years in a leadership or management role.
- Proven experience managing IT operations, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and enterprise systems.
- Strong understanding of telecom industry technologies, trends, and regulatory requirements preferred.
- Experience leading digital transformation or enterprise‑wide technology modernization initiatives.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with senior management and cross‑functional teams.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to translate business needs into technology solutions.
- Strong decision‑making and analytical skills.
- Ability to manage multiple high‑level priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Exceptional problem‑solving skills with a focus on operational excellence.
- Advanced technical proficiency across IT infrastructure, enterprise applications, cloud technologies, and cybersecurity.

- Lead recruitment, onboarding, and development of IT staff.

- Standard office environment.
- Full‑time position, 40+ hours per week.
- Occasional travel may be required based on business needs.
