1. Design and implement the Service Now CSDM framework to align with organizational goals and objectives.
2. Configure and customize the CMDB to accurately represent the configuration items (CIs) and their relationships within the IT environment.
3. Develop and maintain data governance processes to ensure the integrity and quality of CSDM and CMDB data.
4. Collaborate with stakeholders across IT and the business to understand data requirements and map them to the CSDM and CMDB.
5. Define and implement CI classes, attributes, and relationships in accordance with best practices and industry standards.
6. Conduct regular audits and assessments of the CSDM and CMDB to identify and remediate data discrepancies and inconsistencies.
7. Provide guidance and training to IT staff on CSDM and CMDB concepts, processes, and best practices.
8. Work closely with Service Now administrators and developers to integrate the CSDM and CMDB with other Service Now modules and applications.
9. Stay current with Service Now platform updates and new features and recommend enhancements to optimize the CSDM and CMDB. 10. Participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives to improve IT service delivery and support organizational objectives.

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
* Service Now Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification required; additional certifications such as Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) in Service Mapping or Asset Management preferred.
* 8+ years of experience designing, implementing, and managing Service Now CSDM and CMDB solutions.
* Integrate the CSDM and CMDB with third-party tools and systems such as network monitoring tools, asset management systems, and cloud platforms to ensure a comprehensive and unified view of the IT landscape.
* Proficiency in Service Now platform configuration, including workflows, business rules, and UI policies.
* Strong understanding of IT service management (ITSM) processes and best practices, ITIL certification
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
* Experience with data modelling, schema design, and relational databases is desirable.
* Project management experience and familiarity with agile methodologies are advantageous.
