Title:
Service Now CSDM and CMDB Specialist The Service Now Architect plays a critical role in the design, implementation, and optimization of Service Now solutions within the organization. This position requires a deep understanding of the Service Now platform, IT service management processes, and business requirements to architect solutions that drive efficiency, automation, and innovation. Responsibilities:
1. Solution Architecture:
• Design end-to-end solutions on the Service Now platform to meet business requirements and objectives.
• Develop technical specifications, architecture diagrams, and solution designs for Service Now implementations.
• Define and enforce architectural standards, best practices, and governance policies within the Service Now environment.
2. Platform Customization and Configuration:
• Configure and customize the Service Now platform to meet specific business needs and workflows.
• Develop Service Now components such as workflows, forms, UI policies, business rules, and integrations.
• Implement and maintain Service Now modules including IT Service Management (ITSM), IT Operations Management (ITOM), and IT Business Management (ITBM). 3. Integration and Automation:
• Integrate Service Now with other enterprise systems and applications using APIs, web services, and middleware.
• Design and implement automated workflows and processes to streamline service delivery and improve operational efficiency.
• Leverage Service Now Orchestration and Automation capabilities to automate repetitive tasks and activities.
4. Technical Leadership:
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to project teams and stakeholders throughout the Service Now implementation lifecycle.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Mentor junior team members and share best practices for Service Now development and architecture.
5. Performance Optimization and Scalability:
• Identify opportunities to optimize performance, scalability, and reliability of Service Now solutions.
• Conduct performance tuning, load testing, and capacity planning to ensure optimal performance under varying workloads.
• Implement best practices for Service Now instance management, including instance cloning, patching, and upgrades.
6. Documentation and Knowledge Sharing:
• Document technical designs, configurations, and implementation details for Service Now solutions.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, deployment guides, and standard operating procedures.
• Facilitate knowledge sharing sessions and training workshops to empower end-users and technical staff with Service Now expertise.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Service Now Certified System Administrator (CSA) and Service Now Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) certifications preferred.
• Proven experience in architecting and implementing Service Now solutions in enterprise environments.
• In-depth knowledge of Service Now platform capabilities, including ITSM, ITOM, ITBM, Service Portal, and Service Now Integration Hub.
• Strong understanding of IT service management processes, ITIL framework, and industry best practices.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, XML, HTML, CSS, and other web technologies used in Service Now development.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Service Now Certified Application Developer (CAD) certification.
• Experience with Service Now Performance Analytics and Reporting capabilities.
• Knowledge of Service Now Service Graph and CMDB data modeling.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and Dev Ops practices.
