Travel and Expense Systems Administrator

Focus: Strategy, System Implementation, Financial Process Optimization

About the Role

Arclin is seeking a high‑impact Travel and Expense Systems Administrator to lead the modernization of our travel, expense, and invoice management ecosystem. Following significant growth and multiple acquisitions, this role plays a key part in transforming current manual, decentralized processes into a streamlined, automated, global‑scale operation.

You will serve as the primary owner and technical lead for Arclin’s SAP Concur platform—driving implementation, integrating across multiple legacy ERP systems, and preparing the organization for future migration to SAP S/4

HANA

. This is a highly visible position that partners closely with Finance, IT, and Procurement
, ensuring SOX‑compliant processes that support public‑company readiness.

Key Responsibilities SAP Concur Platform Ownership & Implementation
  • Lead the full configuration, deployment, and optimization of SAP Concur (Travel & Expense + Invoice) across all Arclin business units.
  • Serve as Project Manager for global rollouts, ensuring alignment, issue resolution, and strong user adoption.
  • Collaborate with external implementation partners and internal IT teams to ensure effective integrations and resolve technical issues.
Travel & Expense Transformation + AP Automation
  • Support the Accounts Payable (AP) automation strategy, evaluating tools such as Open Text or Concur to modernize the procure‑to‑pay lifecycle.
  • Act as the liaison between Finance, IT, HRIS, and Procurement
    , ensuring accurate data flows across Concur, UKG/Workday, and multiple ERP systems.
  • Maintain and enforce a company‑wide Travel & Expense Policy
    , ensuring SOX‑compliant workflows and strong internal controls.
Operational Management, Reporting & Compliance
  • Reconcile data feeds between corporate credit cards, AP automation tools, HRIS, and ERP platforms to support month‑end close and accruals
    .
  • Manage relationships with Arclin’s travel management company (TMC) and credit card providers to optimize spend and rebate programs.
  • Produce analytics and reporting on travel spend, compliance trends, and AP performance metrics.
  • Provide training, system support, troubleshooting, and guidance to end users—building a center of excellence for T&E processes.
Qualifications & Required Skills Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field.
Experience
  • A minimum of 5+ years of hands‑on SAP Concur administration is REQUIRED. Candidates without at least 5 years of direct SAP Concur administration experience will not be considered.
  • Strong experience integrating Concur with multiple ERP systems.
  • Background in AP automation and the Procure‑to‑Pay (P2P) lifecycle strongly preferred.
  • Experience with SAP S/4

    HANA, JDE, SAP, Microsoft Business Central, or IFS is a strong plus.
Skills
  • Strong understanding of SOX compliance and T&E/AP internal controls.
  • Proven ability to lead complex, cross‑functional initiatives across multiple legacy systems.
  • Advanced analytical and reporting skills (Excel, BI tools).
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to train users and present updates to leadership.
