This job will have the following responsibilities:
We are seeking a savvy Data Platform Engineer to join our growing Data Platform Management team. This role focuses on expanding and optimizing data architecture and pipelines to support cross-functional teams. Key Responsibilities:

• Data Acquisition & Ingestion:
• Identify and integrate data sources using ETL tools such as SSIS and Alteryx.
• Work with data from SQL Server, Teradata, Hadoop/Hive, Postgre
  
  SQL, Oracle, flat files, Google Cloud Platform, and Snowflake.
• Data Optimization:
• Improve data reliability, efficiency, and quality using advanced data solution techniques.
• Automate workflows to ensure timely data delivery.
• Architecture & Modeling:
• Define data architecture frameworks, standards, and principles including modeling, metadata, security, and reference data.
• Create and optimize data models to support business applications.
• System Review & Support:
• Review and enhance existing data systems for compatibility and performance.
• Support the data needs of multiple teams, systems, and products.

Must-Have

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of SQL Server development experience
• 1+ years of Python scripting
• 5+ years of data modeling experience
• 5+ years of ETL experience
• 5+ years working with multiple database technologies (SQL Server, Teradata, Oracle)
• 2+ years of big data experience (Hadoop, Hive, Spark, Snowflake)
• Expert knowledge of data warehousing
• Data model development using ERWIN

Desired

Skills:

• BI lifecycle management
• Working knowledge of Microsoft VBA, HTML, Python
