Job Description
A client of Insight Global is looking for a Dev Ops Engineer to support their deployment pipelines within their Firco Insight product. The ideal candidate will have a background in Octopus Deploy or a similar development orchestration tool with the ability to customize and stabilize CI/CD pipelines using Octopus Deploy, Git Hub Actions, and OCL/HCL/Terraform with a focus on security. The candidate must be able to create and update/simplify deployment scripts using Power Shell, assist in troubleshooting existing configurations relating to Terraform, collaborate with development and SRE teams to streamline deployment processes and reduce manual intervention, manage secrets using AWS KMS and Git Hub Secrets, as well as write and maintain reusable scripts and templates for deployment automation.
The pay rate for this role ranges between $50-55/hour based on years of experience.

- 8 years in Dev Ops/SRE roles
- Hands‑on experience with Octopus Deploy or similar deployment orchestration tools
- Strong scripting skills in Power Shell
- Solid understanding of Git Hub workflows and Git Hub Actions
- Experience with AWS services and architecture
- Intimate familiarity with complex Deployment Systems
- Knowledge of security best practices
- Strong communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders
- SRE experience would be a nice to have
