AboutThe Team:
Our External Client Support Team is dedicated to supporting our external clients’ testing needs. We provide comprehensive technical development guidance, data and environment support, and defect troubleshooting to help clients meet their timelines and deliverables. This role partners closely with our Connected Solutions Business Partners to define scope, articulate solutions, engineer testing strategy, and outline timelines. This position is very much hands on – designing and executing E2E testing flows for new projects.
WhatYou'll Do:
- Design, develop, and execute test plans and strategies with external partners.
- Collaborate with Program Managers, Development Leads, and Architects to identify test scenarios.
- Implement and enhance test automation to improve coverage and regression reliability.
- Collaborate in the design phase to detail API flows, data requirements, and client testing plans.
- Coordinate testing schedules with AIMs and clients.
- Set up and validate QA client environments, including SOCs and Dealer Codes.
- Procure, create, validate, and deliver internal QA data to clients.
- Serve as the single point of contact for client issues, providing triage, troubleshooting, tracking, and defect history.
- Support sustainment and regression testing activities for AT&T and client releases.
- Perform environment shakeouts for over 100 APIs before major releases.
- Conduct daily sanity checks for 25+ APIs to ensure continuous testing support.
- Develop data and environment strategies addressing performance, scalability, reliability, and security.
- Report defects, analyze test results, and prepare test metrics and reports.
- Communicate progress proactively through governance calls, stand-ups, reports, and escalations.
- Extensive working knowledge of Connected Car Platforms, including interfaces and network components.
- Over 5 years of experience with complex systems integration and data architecture, including CSI, Akamai, TLG API software architecture, REST APIs, SOAP APIs, XML, Postman, and SOAP UI.
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of test automation tools such as Robot Framework, Playwright, Katalon, and Appium. Additional skills in Power BI, Python, Power Shell, Jenkins, SQL, Oracle, Azure cloud basics, Selenium, and GenAI experience are also considered assets. Proficient in automation testing tools and strategies in integrated test environments.
- Experienced in Playwright, Robot Framework for browser automation and proficiency in Python including frameworks such as Pytest.
- Experience with service virtualization, API automation (REST Assured, Postman, Karate), and contract testing (Pact).
- Experience in integrating automated scripts into CI/CD pipeline using Jenkins, Git Hub actions, Azure Dev Ops.
- Over 8 years of hands‑on software quality assurance and testing experience.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with a solid understanding of application architecture.
