Responsibilities of the Warehouse IT Specialist:

• Configure client IT assets according to project requirements:
  • Rack & Stack
  • Bulk Switch & Server configurations
  • Cable manage to customer port-maps
• Keep accurate records of progress and next steps
• Participate in inventory and logistic processes, including capturing asset data with the inventory management system
• Communicate with warehouse supervisors and coordinators on plans and programs for organization within the department
• Organize and manage hardware devices efficiently
• Manage project timeliness as it pertains to priority
• Maintain a clean work environment within the warehouse (unboxing, shredding, etc.)
• Maintain inventory accuracy
• Other areas as assigned

Minimum Required Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will have/be:

• 3+ years of experience in an IT role involving testing and configuring hardware components
• At least 1+ year of experience in a warehouse environment
• Knowledge of file transfer protocols
• Experience working with Linux-based systems and Python
• Demonstrate a fundamental understanding of network, storage, and computer systems
• IT-related certificates and/or a technical degree are a plus
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, and are able to work with customers to resolve problems and identify solutions
• Reliable - You are a person who shows up on time as scheduled and ready to work.
• Quick and Efficient - You work hard to complete assignments and meet your goals.
• Autonomous - You can manage your own time efficiently to effectively execute projects.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from the warehouse, as this is a full-time, onsite position.
